Clinical Pharmacist
Private Hospital | 22.5 Hours per Week | Up to £56,600 Pro Rata
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team within a modern, well-equipped private hospital setting. This is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week) offering a competitive salary of up to £56,600 pro rata, depending on experience.
About the Role As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical care across a range of inpatient surgical and medical services. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and surgical units
* Undertake medicines reconciliation and clinical screening
* Support safe prescribing and medicines optimisation
* Provide drug information and advice to medical and nursing staff
* Participate in governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
* Contribute to policy development and implementation
* Support antimicrobial stewardship and controlled drug governance
About You
* GPhC registered Pharmacist
* Minimum 4 years' post-graduate clinical experience
* Experience within hospital pharmacy (private or NHS)
* Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working ability
* Commitment to patient safety and service development
