SEN Teacher – Permanent Position Location: New Ferry A highly reputable, award-winning group of special educational needs (SEN) schools is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join the permanent teaching team at one of their schools in New Ferry. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individual learners. Create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s requirements. Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, adjusting strategies where necessary. Work in close partnership with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each pupil. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Promote students’ personal, social, and emotional development alongside academic progress. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs. Sound knowledge of SEN best practice, legislation, and current educational developments. Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills. Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual learning needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A team-oriented approach and a commitment to continuous professional development.
