*Job Role: Vehicle Technician*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and well established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide variety of vehicles, maintaining the high standard of workmanship our customers have come to rely on.This role offers an excellent opportunity to use your technical expertise in a fast-paced yet supportive working environment.*Please note: this position is only open to applicants with a minimum of five years’ experience within a garage environment.**Duties** Conduct vehicle diagnostics by using A scan tool, schematics and mechanical knowledge to accurately identify issues.* Perform repairs and servicing on a range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components etc.* Use hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment to carry out efficient assembly, disassembly, and repairs.* Repair or replace faulty parts, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.* Maintain detailed and accurate job card records of all work completed and parts used.* If necessary, provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining the repair process and answering any customer queries professionally.* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.*Experience & Skills Required** A minimum of *five years’ proven experience* in automotive repair or a closely related field (essential).* Strong knowledge of Diagnostic Scanners, wiring schematics, mechanical systems, and vehicle assembly processes.* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance procedures.* Knowledge of electrical systems and repair techniques is highly desirable (but not essential).* Ability to interpret technical manuals and carry out effective troubleshooting.* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.* Physical fitness suitable for heavy lifting and working in varied workshop conditions.Job Type: Full-timePay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company pension* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
