Responsibilities
The TikTok Shop UK B2B Marketing Lead will hold a central role in shaping our brand's narrative and ensuring consistent messaging across all B2B partners: merchants, creators, partnership, media. This is a newly launched function to turbocharge our merchant acquisition efforts. There is a unique opportunity for the hire to build and shape the platform in the B2B Marketing function from the ground up.
The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, a flair for B2B storytelling, and a deep understanding of crafting a comprehensive B2B cross-channel strategy rooted in our value proposition. They should possess a base of industry contacts and knowledge to help start the function and be adept at executing marketing activities such as webinars, workshops, roundtables, case studies, playbooks, and videos. They should demonstrate a track record of delivering tangible results, including increased engagement, broader reach, and growth in both prospects and existing accounts.
* B2B cross-channel marketing strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cross-channel B2B strategy based on our business value proposition and data insights.
* Based on the agreed strategy, create robust B2B marketing activity calendars (e.g., webinars, workshops, roundtables, conferences, interviews) throughout the lifecycle of our merchants/accounts and creators.
* Based on performance data, proactively revise the strategy to ensure it fits business needs and achieves internal and external performance benchmarks.
* Content Strategy and Calendar: Develop (paid and organic) digital content strategy aligned with overall marketing and brand objectives across owned channels (LinkedIn, email/CRM, blog, etc.) based on data insights and objectives.
* Identify target audiences and tailor content to resonate with specific psychographics.
* Develop and execute social media and email content calendars ensuring a consistent flow of content across platforms.
* Content Planning and Development: Collaborate with other functions to create world-class thought leadership content (white papers, case studies, playbooks, infographics, videos) across required channels based on the content strategy.
* Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
* Coordinate content production schedules, gather necessary data, and work with designers, videographers, and other creatives to deliver cohesive content strategy.
* Analysis and Reporting: Monitor content performance weekly/monthly across key metrics (engagement, reach, views, downloads, saves, open and click-through rates) and drive positive changes in merchant behavior.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing effective B2B marketing strategies across various channels.
* Knowledge and experience in developing thought leadership practices, content (white papers, case studies, keynotes, playbooks, etc.), and organizing internal events such as webinars, workshops, roundtables.
* UK industry contacts and knowledge.
* Very organized and results-driven with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* E-commerce and brand marketing experience; understanding of discovery commerce.
* Ability to coordinate different campaign stakeholders such as PR, international brand, and marketing agencies.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Expertise with content creation tools and platforms.
* Strong social media exposure and marketing ability across multiple platforms.
