Your New RoleAs a Technical Author, you will be responsible for producing clear, accurate, and compliant documentation to support products in-service. You will work closely with engineering, design, and other departments to gather the necessary information as well as attend project milestones and customer meetings to ensure timely and effective delivery of documentation. What You Will Need to SucceedTo succeed in this role, you should hold a relevant degree in manufacturing or engineering or have equivalent experience in an engineering discipline. You will need a strong technical and scientific foundation, along with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical documentation challenges. A good understanding of authoring software and standard practices is essential, as is experience in gathering and interpreting technical information. You must be able to clearly convey complex content in written form, particularly maintenance instructions, and demonstrate excellent communication skills across a range of stakeholders. Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also key.
