This is afantastic opportunity to join the businessand play a key role within the planning function for a dedicated value stream. You will take ownership of theend-to-end production planning process, with the unique chance tobuild and develop the production plan from scratchand shape theKanban system alongside a collaborative team.

As Production Planner, you will be responsible fordeveloping, maintaining, and communicating production schedulesto ensure customer orders are deliveredon time and in full.
You will work closely withOperations, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality, ensuring that labour, materials, and equipment are aligned to meet business demand efficiently.
This is ahighly interactive, hands-on role, where you will monitor demand, manage constraints, and proactively resolve issues to minimise downtime and maximise output.
Key Responsibilities as Production Planner will include:
Creating, maintaining, and communicating daily and weekly production schedules
Reviewing material availability, identify shortages, and collaborateing with Purchasing on solutions
Owning and developing the Kanban system, including calculating and updating parameters
Building and improving production planning processes from the ground up
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure plans are realistic and achievable
Monitor WIP and work order progress, escalating risks where needed
Maintain high levels of accuracy within theERP system
Act as thego-to contact for planning-related ERP queries
Support internal and external communication with teams, partners, and customers
Maintain visual management tools and planning boards
Drive continuous improvement and support operational performance targets
Promote a strongHealth & Safety culture
To succeed in this interesting Planning / scheduling role you will:
Be a proactive and organised planner who thrives in a manufacturing environment, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Youll bring:
23 years experience inproduction planning or scheduling
Experience in establishing or running aKanban system
Good understanding ofproduction workflows and planning processes
Experience usingERP systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to readengineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach
Confident IT skills
A positive, energetic, and proactive attitude
