Job Description
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a global provider of semiconductor equipment. This is a field-based role, where you can expect to spend approximately 90% of your time traveling throughout the EMEA, UK, and occasionally the US, to support customers.
You will work onsite at customer facilities, performing installations, upgrades of systems and software, maintenance, breakdown, and repairs. When in your home office or on the road, you will respond to customer queries and troubleshoot problems over the phone. You will report back to Engineering or Support and Upgrade Teams regarding experiences, requirements, or issues encountered during visits.

Experience
* Previous service, installation, or maintenance experience, ideally with semiconductor equipment.
* Experience in similar high-technology electronic or instrumentation sectors may also be considered.
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, fault find, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
* Ideally, an HNC or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Engineering discipline.
Additional Information
* The position requires extensive and frequent travel (approximately 90%), mainly within the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Candidates must be prepared to travel regularly and stay away from home.
* Candidates must have a full, clean UK driving license.
* Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.

Salary & Benefits
Up to approximately £49,000 basic, plus £6,000-£7,000 car allowance, and benefits.
