We are looking for a highly passionate teaching assistant to grab the opportunity of supporting Nursery children. This is a full time position (8:30 AM- 3:30 PM; Monday to Friday) and you will be supporting children in a mainstream primary school based out of Sheffield, S20 area.
Optional: Part time available but only for Morning hours only.

Roles & responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the execution of customised education plans designed to meet each child's learning objectives.
2. Build connections with all children, adapting communication to align with their understanding.
3. Promote an inclusive and diverse learning environment, ensuring equal opportunities for all children.
4. Encourage independence through diverse activities and tasks.
5. Support the showcasing of child's work and assist in preparing educational materials.
6. Provide assistance in practical activities, utilising various teaching aids.
7. Foster positive behaviour and empower children to take ownership of their actions.
8. Assist in supervising children during the class teacher's absence, alongside other support staff.
Requirements:
9. Proficient knowledge of the national Key Stage Curriculum.
10. Familiarity with diverse teaching approaches suitable for SEN children.
11. Solid comprehension of child development and the learning process.
12. Exhibit effective listening and verbal communication skills.
13. A commitment to building positive children relationships and addressing their requirements.
14. Capable of offering individualised attention, encouragement, and learning support.
15. Possess an Enhanced DBS check or willing to obtain one through Randstad.
16. Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
