The job itself
A personal assistant is required 2 nights per month in South Cave.
The role will be to assist a friendly and vital lady in her 70s with overnight care, main responsibilities will be assisting with getting into bed, assisting with overnight ventilator and oxygen therapy. Ensuring the equipment is working and to be available for any overnight personal care that is required. The role would begin with some daytime help so the PA can learn more about the role, later moving to sleeping night assistance.
The lady who is a full time wheelchair user has many interests and a positive outlook on life, she enjoys watching documentaries, movies, gardening, crafts and cookery, she is tech-savvy and the role would be suited to someone who enjoys keeping good company while helping with the things she cannot easily do.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
