Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Middlesbrough on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide classroom support in a Year 4 class, assisting with engaging lessons and targeted support in English and maths. You will join a supportive team focused on creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

2. Work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

3. Assist with the delivery of reading, writing, and maths sessions

4. Promote positive behaviour and inclusion within the classroom

5. Help with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and assessments

Essential Requirements

6. Recent experience working in an educational setting

7. Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent)

8. A passion for supporting KS2 pupils

9. Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team
