Network Cellular Pathology Manager
Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Service (CWPS) has an exciting opportunity for a Network Cellular Pathology Manager to join our management team.
CWPS has Pathology Laboratories across three hospital sites: Coventry Hospital (UHCW), George Eliot Hospital and South Warwick Hospital (SWFT), offering services to 1.8 million patients across the region.
The Cellular Pathology laboratories and mortuary are based at UHCW and SWFT sites. Staff across the two hospital sites perform an array of histological techniques, including dissection, embedding, microtomy, QC, special staining, immunohistochemistry, and digital scanning.
Both laboratories are installing new, state‑of‑the‑art histopathology instrumentation and have recently implemented a digital pathology solution. CWPS mortuary services conduct forensic work across the local area and are in the early stages of upgrading our facilities.
