Your Next Adventure
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Value Stream Shift Manager to lead our production shift and help shape the future of our manufacturing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on your team, processes and product quality.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be the heartbeat of the shift – guiding your team, solving problems and ensuring we deliver safely, on time and to the highest standards.
You’ll lead a motivated production team by creating a positive, engaging environment where people feel supported, recognised and encouraged to perform at their best – developing your team, managing attendance and welfare, driving performance through coaching and appraisals, overseeing training plans, communicating clearly through shift briefings and handling recruitment and employee relations matters.
You’ll champion a strong safety culture – leading investigations, maintaining excellent housekeeping, ensuring compliance with risk assessments, encouraging hazard reporting and delivering regular safety communications. Quality will be central to your role as you raise and own deviations, ensure adherence to SOPs and batch documentation, support audits and monitor telemetry to maintain Right First‑Time performance.
You’ll keep production running efficiently by aligning plans through S&OP, managing resources effectively, completing SIC documentation for OEE analysis and driving schedule adherence. Alongside this, you’ll support continuous improvement by completing Oracle transactions, reducing waste, improving yield, minimising batch rejects, managing consumables to budget, and contributing to CAPEX, NPD and wider improvement initiatives.
Success in this role means consistently meeting safety, quality, delivery and cost targets, fostering an engaged and motivated team, maintaining strong GMP and H&S compliance, reducing waste and downtime and achieving high levels of schedule adherence and Right First Time performance.
