Location: Across Patchway & surrounding areas – a valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this role. Travel expenses are covered and mileage is paid at 43 p per mile.
Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour, plus up to an additional £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours.
Hours: 15 or 20 hours per week available on a rota basis that will include mornings, evenings and alternate weekends between 7 am and 10 pm.
About the Role
We are looking for passionate Care Assistants to join our growing care team. This is a mobile, field‑based role that involves travelling between our developments. You will work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Care Manager to deliver personal bespoke care and lifestyle services, including personal care, household tasks, companionship and wellbeing activities. Communal areas are also expected to be cleaned regularly.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Individual Homeowners by providing personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance. Offer domestic support such as cleaning, shopping and managing household tasks.
* Domestic: Maintain communal areas within our developments to a high standard, ensuring a clean, tidy and welcoming environment for all homeowners.
* Social Support: Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and attending appointments to enhance their overall wellbeing and social connections.
What We’re Looking For
* Skills & Experience: Ideally previous experience in a care environment with a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification, though training will be provided for those looking for a career change. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and effective time‑management are essential.
* Driving Licence: A valid full UK driving licence is required, with willingness to travel between developments.
* Flexibility: Ability to work on a rota basis that includes early mornings, late evenings and alternate weekends.
