As a Client Account Manager, you will drive business growth by leading account strategies across a portfolio of core clients. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, strengthen relationships, and expand opportunities. Acting as a trusted partner, you’ll ensure long-term value, oversee contract negotiations, and support revenue and retention goals.
What you’ll be doing:
* Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders at core client organisations, acting as a trusted advisor by understanding their business needs, challenges, and industry trends.
* Develop and implement tailored account strategies to drive growth within core accounts, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities to increase account penetration.
* Drive revenue growth by securing renewals, expanding service offerings, and consistently meeting or exceeding profitability and growth targets.
* Ensure client data, such as bed numbers or service needs, is accurately maintained and updated throughout the year in relevant systems.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to design pricing models, proposals, and value propositions that ensure seamless service delivery aligned with client expectations.
* Lead contract negotiations, manage renewals and amendments, and ensure all agreements are compliant.
* Chair high-level service review meetings, coordinating internal teams, setting agendas, and delivering clear, insightful reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
* Serve as the primary point of escalation for client issues, working cross-functionally to deliver timely resolutions and maintain strong relationships, even during challenging situations.
* Monitor account performance and key KPIs regularly, using data-driven insights to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
* Act as the voice of the customer within the organisation, working with the Operational Excellence team to drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of:
* Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth and client retention. ·
* Expertise in building and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their business needs.
* Skilled in leading complex contract negotiations, managing renewals, and ensuring compliance to prevent service disruptions.
* Proficiency in analysing data and performance metrics to inform decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and monitor account health.
* The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver customised solutions and high-quality service.
* Any additional European languages are beneficial to enhance client communication across regions.
