We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary SEN school in Bilston. This is a full-time role starting in February 2026, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of SEN needs
*
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated lessons
*
Adapting resources and approaches to meet individual learning and behavioural needs
*
Promoting independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning
*
Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support
The Ideal Candidate

Are graduates or soon-to-be graduates from any degree background
*
Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable, but training will be provided)
*
Are patient, resilient, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to inclusive education

Are proactive team players with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
