We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant/After School Club Assistant to join our team at Cheriton Fitzpaine Primary School. (Minimum of 18 hours per week, to be confirmed). The ideal candidate will have experience and a relevant qualification working with early years children and possess strong mentoring and communication skills.
We will consider an apprentice for this role, and full Early Years training will be undertaken alongside the role (Rates of pay will vary if the apprenticeship route is chosen) As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting educators in providing a supportive learning environment for all students.
This role is fixed term due to budgetary constraints.
Applicants should have experience of working with young children and have an understanding of how they would support a child with additional needs by adapting the curriculum and managing behaviour to enable the child to succeed in school. Training will be given to the successful candidate to develop the skills needed further to undertake this role.
