Contract Type: Permanent (full time) and fixed term contract (part time) until 31st March 2026

Contract Reason: Secondment cover

Secondment Opportunity: Permanent employees are encouraged to apply and will be supported as part of our workforce development commitment.

Salary: Full time - Grade F. Scale 17 - £30,060 to Scale 22 - £32,654

Part time - Grade F. Scale 17 - £25,050 Scale 22 - £27,211 (actual salary)

Hours per Week: Full time - 36

Part time - 30

Base Location: Hyde Flowery Centre, Old Road, Hyde, SK14 4SQ

Assessment Date: 11th August 2025

The Role

To deliver high quality early years services to actively support school readiness in the early years and work collaboratively with the early years managers to develop and evolve the service to meet the needs of the community.

To actively work in partnership with health and other organisations to deliver parent and child interaction groups for speech and language services, phyiscal development and social, emotional development and well-being through pathway services to support children having the best start for life.

To support early years workers in day-to-day management whilst also being able to manage own workload and deliver services. Furthermore, supporting early years management with ongoing evaluations and impact data.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a recognised early years qualifications which needs to be level 3 or above, along with experience of working within early years settings.

Candidates need to be positive and motivative, able to work flexibly due to on-going demands of a services and working across a borough. Also need to be an effective communicator working with other agencies and service users.
