Position: Teacher of Health and Social Care – T Level Adult Nursing & Education and Early Years & Level 2
Number of roles: 2, up to full-time hours (to be discussed at interview)
Contract: Permanent, starting September 2025
Salary: Sixth Form College Pay Spine Point 1-9, dependent on experience
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Health and Social Care (T Level Adult Nursing, Education and Early Years) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering our evolving T Level Health curriculum and/or Education and Early Years, inspiring and supporting students to achieve their best.
Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers of Health and Social Care/Education and Early Years. Candidates with industry experience in health or care sectors and/or experience teaching the T Level Health qualification are encouraged to apply. Strong and current subject knowledge is essential.
You should possess excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills and be committed to providing outstanding learning experiences. We value team players who collaborate well, bring positivity, and are willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Delivering engaging lessons on the core content of T Level Health Adult Nursing/Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care qualifications, including:
* Working in health, social care, and early years settings
* Health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental regulations
* Managing information and data
* Person-centred care
* Infection prevention and control
* Promoting development, learning, and positive behaviour
* Safeguarding and child protection
* Core scientific, clinical, and psychological concepts
Assessment & Feedback:
* Plan and deliver formative and summative assessments
* Track student progress and provide personalized feedback
* Prepare students for industry placements by developing workplace readiness
* Contribute to curriculum development aligned with industry standards
* Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards
Student Support:
* Offer guidance tailored to individual learning needs
* Promote academic progress, confidence, and career readiness
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
