Trainee Removals Branch Manager – Nottingham
Alchemy is working with a leading UK removals company to recruit a Trainee Removals Branch Manager in Nottingham. This is an exciting entry level opportunity in the domestic, international and commercial relocation industry. The role offers full training and fast-track career progression within a busy operational branch environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Shadow and support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations
* Learn to manage branch profitability and cost control
* Assist in sales development for domestic, international, storage, and O&I relocations
* Coordinate quotes, bookings, and job scheduling
* Help manage logistics, vehicles and staff deployment
* Ensure high quality customer service and complaint resolution
* Support personnel management, including training and shift planning
* Monitor inventory, warehouse and storage operations
* Help implement health & safety procedures on removals sites
* Collect operational metrics and assist with performance reporting
* Liaise with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
* Contribute to process improvements and initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Good numeracy and literacy, with PC literacy (MS Office)
* Planning and organizational skills
* Highly motivated, ambitious and resourceful attitude
* Relocation or logistics sector experience preferred but not essential
