Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver captivating Humanities Teacher lessons, primarily focusing on History at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE History examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of historical concepts and interpretations.
* Cultivate a dynamic learning environment that encourages historical inquiry, debate, and the analysis of sources within the broader humanities curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Humanities (History), providing insightful feedback to enhance their understanding.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History or Humanities.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities Teacher lessons with a strong emphasis on History at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* A strong and comprehensive knowledge of British and world history within a broader humanities framework.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of bringing historical events to life for students.
