Lusona are delighted to be partnering with a global service sector organisation to source suitable applicants for the role of ‘Reporting Accountant’. Based in Glasgow City Centre, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team within a global organisation, offering hybrid working, study support, and excellent career development prospects.
As Reporting Accountant, you’ll be responsible for delivering tailored financial reports and statements, acting as a key contact for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities include:
1. Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports
2. Producing annual and interim standalone and consolidated financial statements (IFRS & FRS 102)
3. Generating VAT returns
4. Identifying and implementing process improvements
5. Supporting financial analysis and bespoke reporting requests
Who We’re Looking For:
Applicants will be experienced in producing financial accounts – this can be from a similar role within industry or within an accounts preparation / audit role within accountancy practice. Ideally applicants will have experience with IFRS and FRS 102 reporting. You will also have an analytical, problem-solving mindset with excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
