If it is identified that you require sponsorship to undertake this role your application may be withdrawn</b></p><p>The Violence Reduction Team within Staffordshire Police works with children and young people who have been identified as involved in, or at risk of being involved in serious violence and/or exploitation. If you have used AI you must state this in your application.</b></p><h3>Job responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assessment and formulation of the needs of the young people referred to the service</li><li>Deliver short‑term psychological therapies where necessary</li><li>Develop good therapeutic relationships with clients to improve their overall engagement with VRT</li><li>Complete and contribute to robust risk assessments and risk management plans</li><li>Deliver and promote positive risk taking, where appropriate</li></ul><h3>Person Specification</h3><h3>Qualifications & Training</h3><ul><li>Registered mental health nurse / OT / SLT / Learning Disability Nurse OR Qualified Clinical Associate in Psychology (CAP)</li><li>Post‑registration/qualification experience, evidence of formal courses and training at diploma/degree level</li><li>Psychological intervention qualification including EMDR, CBT, Family Interventions, CAT, DBT, Structured Clinical Management</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Evidence of extensive post‑registration/qualification experience working with service users experiencing mental health related difficulties</li><li>Experience of working in community settings and making decisions autonomously
