Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resident Liaison Officer to join a reputable property services provider delivering planned maintenance works in the Cambridge area. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract supporting a project team in ensuring a positive resident experience during essential works.
In this customer-focused role, you will act as the key contact for residents, managing communications, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Youll work closely with site and office teams to coordinate works, reduce disruption, and uphold excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact between residents, site teams, and contractors.
* Support the Project Manager by ensuring resident needs are prioritised and effectively managed.
* Handle and escalate tenant complaints professionally and within agreed procedures.
* Ensure residents are informed about scheduled works, access requirements, and any potential disruptions.
* Attend regular meetings with residents and client representatives to provide updates and receive feedback.
* Maintain accurate on-site records and update databases to reflect works progress and communications.
* Promote consistent customer care standards across all areas of the project.
* Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all residents.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Strong background in customer service, community engagement, or client-facing roles.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to manage and resolve complaints empathetically and professionally.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Flexible with site and office-based work and willing to travel locally.
* Full, clean UK driving license.
Desirable:
* Experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer or similar role within housing or construction sectors.
* Understanding of planned maintenance, housing projects, or property refurbishments.
