Job Overview
Netherhall Learning Campus Junior School, Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) are looking to appoint dedicated, resourceful, imaginative and creative staff to work with students who have Complex Communication and Interaction (CCI), ASC and ADHD needs.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and creating the new facilities, resources and curriculum whilst supporting students and families along the way. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate good communication and language skills, understand the importance of being part of a team, have a knowledge of the complexities of need highlighted within young people’s Education, Health Care Plan (EHCP) and be resilient and compliant to their statutory and moral obligations as a trusted adult. The role will involve supporting students to make good academic and social progress in the ARP and mainstream lessons, through a clear knowledge and understanding of the student’s personal needs, strategies for learning, intervention and good communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
Must demonstrate good communication and language skills, knowledge of EHCP, resilience, and compliance with statutory and moral obligations as a trusted adult.
