Canon Cambridge has a vacancy for a digital print operator to join the team at the secondary site in Papworth Everard, working on a rotating double day shift. The ideal candidate will have experience working in time-critical digital print environments using variable personalized data, which requires multiple stock changes in a 100% quality-focused environment.
You should be highly computer literate with good knowledge of workflow management and print queue management.
This role involves direct interaction with end users, so customer service skills are essential.
There may also be a requirement to provide cover in the high-volume inkjet print department working on Canon CS3700 printers with booklet makers. Experience in this area is desirable, but full training will be provided.
Although primarily based at Papworth Everard, the role may require working at our primary site at Whittlesford.

What we ask
You should have experience in:
* Transactional and unstructured digital print
* Mid to high-volume digital toner and inkjet print equipment, ideally Canon VP6000 / CS3700
* Digital volume color print experience (advantageous)
* Working in a competitive commercial environment
* Job composition software and print queue management (desirable)
* Digital print technologies in high-volume production
* High quality assurance standards
* Organization, communication, and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
