Ready to start your career in tech? At Computacenter, we connect people and technology to shape the future. You'll be joining Computacenter's Salesforce team, part of our Global Information Services (GIS) function, which supports the technology used across the business.
This team plays a key role in supporting and enhancing our Salesforce platform, a tool used to help manage customer information and business processes. It's the perfect place to learn how large business systems are managed, gain exposure to Salesforce best practices, and develop technical and problem-solving skills that will set you up for a strong career in IT and digital solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll study for your Digital Support Technician Level 3 qualification while gaining practical experience. Around 80% of your time will be in the role and 20% focused on learning.
Here's what you'll get involved in:
* Supporting our global Salesforce platform with over 2,500 users.
* Helping teams across the business work more efficiently.
* Resolving issues by reproducing system issues in a safe test environment and recommending fixes.
* Assisting with Salesforce system clean-ups and regular maintenance.
* Joining workshops to understand and gather business requirements.
* Attending team and project meetings with colleagues in the UK, United States, and India.
What You'll Need
* At least 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English Language at grade 4/C or above.
* A passion for the evolving world of business and technology.
* A keen interest in technology and a commitment to developing your skills further by working towards industry-recognised Salesforce certifications alongside your apprenticeship.
* Strong communication skills.
* A positive, "can-do" attitude.
* An interest in building a long-term career in IT.
Important Eligibility Information
Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider. These checks include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold.
Due to apprenticeship funding requirements, applicants must not already hold a Level 3 qualification in Digital Support or IT or an equivalent qualification to be eligible for this programme.
