Job Summary:
Lynas General Assistants will assist with the day-to-day running of the Food Outlet to ensure that sales and profit targets are met through effective stock control, sales promotion and cost control. They will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.
Role Responsibilities:
* Providing excellent customer service
* Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of all actions in the store
* Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
* Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Maintaining store merchandising standards.
* Taking part in all stock takes.
* Goods intake, putting away orders.
* Till duties and cash handling.
* Stock replenishment and inventory taking.
* Carry out and record date and temperature checks on stock.
* Ensuring all waste is managed
* General housekeeping and maintaining excellent store presentation.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a food retail role
* Full clean driving licence essential
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative.
* To have a good work ethic
* To be a good timekeeper
* To be professional
* Willingness to operate in various temperature zones.
* Must be fully flexible to work shifts including Saturdays.
* Must be able to adhere to Health & Safety procedures and promote the Health & Safety culture at the Food Outlet
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
