The Role
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and ensuring payments are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
* Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
* Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes
* Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties when required
About You
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance administration role
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Confident working with finance systems and Microsoft Excel
* Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
* A proactive and team-focused approach
What’s on Offer
* Salary of £26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience
