We are looking for a passionate and experienced Front of House supervisor at The Three Horseshoes, Asthall. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading service standards and supporting the wider business objectives. You will report to the General Manager and work alongside the operational teams. You will lead a small team; previous leadership experience is advantageous. You should be a natural leader and role model, sharing your experience and knowledge from your career in F&B. You will be an ambassador for The Bamford Collection, a group of consciously minded brands committed to nourishing people and the planet.
Responsibilities
1. Work as a consummate host to our guests and residents.
2. Ensure the restaurant, pub, and garden are prepared for the day, check tables, replenish stock, and maintain standards, delegating tasks as appropriate.
3. Drive average spend per head by identifying opportunities for recommendations.
4. Maintain full knowledge of the menu, including beverages, provide detailed dish descriptions, recommend dishes, and give allergen advice.
5. Manage shifts effectively, motivate the front of house team, and deliver seamless service.
6. Manage restaurant operations to maximize sales through table turning.
7. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams on developing food and beverage offerings.
8. Maintain an up-to-date staffing plan, prepare schedules, and manage holiday requirements.
9. Ensure transaction accuracy, including balancing floats, change, banking, and cash reconciliation.
10. Highlight health and safety matters to your line manager or appropriate parties.
11. Deliver and champion 'REAL The Horseshoes experience.'
12. Drive social and environmental improvements, contribute to our B Corp journey, and align with our sustainability vision.
13. Inspire and empower customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a positive impact.
