Vacancy Introduction

Are you interested in a career in Community Dietetics, working in a variety of settings? Are you a team player, passionate about supporting high quality service and can embrace innovation?

Adult Community Dietetics is recruiting to a permanent, nearly full-time post 33.75hrs a week Band 5 Dietitian. We pride ourselves in supporting each other through peer support and clinical leadership. All staff are provided with a laptop and smart phone for hybrid working. Interviews planned 23.6.26.

What our friendly team can offer?

* A solid foundation in general adult dietetics.
* A commitment to your development-preceptorship, student training, research in practice, audit and clinical supervision.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner; alongside senior dietitians, who can provide support and supervision and be a source of specialist knowledge. The team has a mixed clinical caseload of adults including undernutrition, diabetes and gastrointestinal conditions. We work closely with our Dietetic Assistants/Dietetic Associate Practitioner and specific multi-disciplinary teams, plus we are well supported by our administrative team, who provide extra support to aid efficiency.

We work in a hybrid model of remote working (telephone/video), from home or office as well as face-to-face contact e.g. patient homes, care homes, health centres for clinics or groups. The Trust has excellent IT facilities to ensure fast reliable access to SystmOne and Leeds Care Record for patient records off site and at home.

Community Dietitian is a varied post: need to be a car driver/owner/access to a car. Rewarding environment to work in; we continually evaluate our practice e.g. outcome measures.

For further information please contact Rachel Vine / Jessica Doyle, Tel: 0113 843 0890, email: lcht.lchdieteticsadmin@nhs.net
