At our Littleport operation, we are growing and packaging large volumes of Mushrooms, as well as packing radish, all for UK retailers.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest and passion for building a career in Engineering within the food manufacturing and farming industry. You will work with our operational teams, involving a variety of equipment and machinery, providing diverse experience and learning opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
1. Breakdowns/Fault Finding: Promptly attend machinery breakdowns/malfunctions and carry out necessary work to ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.
2. Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a planned preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment and services are adequately maintained, aiming to maximize yields, quality, and profit while minimizing costs.
3. Equipment: Ensure all equipment is in good, safe working order, with timely servicing and repairs.
4. Research, Innovation, and Product Development: Participate in identifying new product concepts, varieties, and systems to meet customer needs and establish a competitive advantage. Involvement in improvement projects, aiding in the design, manufacture, and validation of equipment.
The ideal candidate:
* Wants to be part of the future of Engineering.
* Is a team player with problem-solving skills, adaptability, and logical thinking.
* Has a minimum of 4 GCSEs including Maths & English (9-4 or equivalent).
* Can communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
* Can work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be 18+ (or 18 by end August 2025).
