About The RoleEngineered to Protect, thats our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world.The Production Team Leader is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient day-to-day operation of an assigned production area(s) within an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment.Production Team Leader will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week.The salary for this role is up to £42.8k, depending on experience.Whatyoullbedoing Performance Monitoring: Direct daily manufacturing activities to meet or exceed SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People)Safety: Foster a safety-first culture and enforce safety procedures and reportingQuality: Adopt quality control and compliance procedures, monitoring governance across manufacturing execution and fostering quality first cultureDelivery: Coordinate daily workflows, resolve bottlenecks, and manage material flow. Interfacing with materials & planningCost: Ensure production booking adherence for utilisation tracking, maintain accuracy in labour bookings to enhance standard cost monitoringTeam Leadership & Development: Supervise, motivate and manage performance.
Ensure all team members receive the appropriate trainingContinuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives within CI, Lean or Production Engineering frameworks aligned to SEA strategyGovernance & Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to standard work, safety regulations (GMP), and quality standardAbout our companyAt SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.We provide state-of-the-art applications for naval ship and fleet protection, and undersea surveillance systems.
