Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a world‑class Project Manager to join the team in Derby or Bristol. The role reports to the VP M&A and Programme Delivery and is a key delivery position operating across the entire IT domain portfolio, supporting the company’s digital strategy and enterprise applications.
What you will be doing
* Accountable for the creation and agreement of the delivery plan for enterprise projects.
* Sign off on all third‑party Statements of Work and establish the delivery framework, including scheme, purchase orders and PPMO gate reviews.
* Deliver time, cost and quality outcomes while managing commitments, escalations and supplier performance.
* Ensure risk and issue processes are upheld, provide necessary reporting and financial management, and prepare project and quality plans.
* Provide portfolio level oversight for finance and supplier performance and keep the plan focused on business priorities aligned with Digital & IT strategy.
* Deliver strategic, large‑scale programmes and improve systems and processes for enterprise systems delivery.
Qualifications
* Extensive project delivery experience in a complex, fast‑paced, demanding environment.
* Deep understanding of programme, resource and risk management tools and techniques.
* Strong stakeholder management and influence skills, with the ability to negotiate and agree contracts.
* Commercially astute, analytical mind and effective communication across all levels of the organisation.
* Experience of working in a project and programme delivery focused environment and excellent communication skills.
* Proven record of project delivery with expert knowledge of delivery tools, governance processes and the ability to execute against contract terms.
