Working Hours 40 hours per week Tuesday – Saturday 06:00 – 15:00 About the role: As a Hygiene Operative you’ll play a key part in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, quality and safety standards meet our normally high levels. Y ou’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. Some of the key responsibilities will include: Cleaning of all factory equipment and machinery. Use of pressure washers and chemicals. Removal of debris and discarded products. Achieving agreed quality standards. Following relevant training and CIC’s to ensure safe and efficient cleaning. Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg What you’ll need to be successful: Good level of English and basic numeracy skills The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks Previous experience in a similar hygiene/manufacturing role would be beneficial.
