Role Purpose
We are seeking a Finance Transformation Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of AccountsIQ and associated finance process improvements. This role is critical to ensuring the system goes live smoothly, data integrity is maintained, and the finance team is equipped to operate efficiently post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Governance
* Develop a detailed project plan with clear milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
* Align project objectives with business goals and communicate progress to stakeholders.
* Vendor & Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary liaison between the business and AccountsIQ, managing weekly vendor meetings.
* Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
* Data Migration & System Setup
* Oversee data cleansing and migration from Sage 200 to AccountsIQ.
* Ensure system configuration aligns with the Group’s chart of accounts, reporting needs, and user roles.
* Testing & Quality Assurance
* Define and execute testing protocols for system functionality, data conversion, and integrations.
* Validate outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Training & Change Management
* Learn AccountsIQ functionality and deliver tailored training to finance and commercial teams.
* Support adoption and embed new processes across the organisation.
* Post-Go-Live Support
* Establish a support framework for issue resolution and system optimisation.
* Identify opportunities for enhancements (e.g., add-ons, AI integration).
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting requirements.
* Proven experience managing finance system implementations, ideally for SMEs (not large ERP like SAP/Netsuite).
* Background in Big 4 or MBB consulting, with demonstrable project management expertise.
* Experience delivering smaller ERP implementations within SME or Private Equity-backed environments.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, make recommendations, and drive progress.
* Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
* Hands-on approach with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results.
