Data Analyst – Onboarding Transformation

Albany Beck is supporting a major onboarding transformation programme within a leading financial services organisation and is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join the delivery team.
This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys turning complex operational data into clear, actionable insights and working closely with change, project, and business teams to drive measurable improvement.
Role Purpose
The Data Analyst will support onboarding transformation initiatives by analysing customer contact data, operational performance metrics, and process inefficiencies. The role focuses on identifying trends, pain points, and improvement opportunities across onboarding and customer journeys, providing insight that directly informs change delivery.
You will play a key role in enabling data-led decision-making, supporting journey design, prioritisation, and performance tracking across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse customer contact volumes, interaction drivers, and operational performance metrics
* Identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes within onboarding and related processes
* Provide data-driven insight to support customer journey mapping and process redesign activities
* Design, build, and maintain dashboards, MI, and tracking reports to monitor performance and outcomes
* Translate complex data sets into clear, meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Partner closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to inform change initiatives and delivery priorities
* Support ongoing tracking of benefits, improvements, and operational outcomes post‑implementation
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all reporting outputs
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong data analysis capability, with experience using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar
* Experience within Commercial Banking or Corporate Banking environments
* Proven ability to translate data into clear business insight and practical recommendations
* Strong structured reporting and performance tracking capability
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a disciplined approach to data management
* Understanding of onboarding and KYC processes is beneficial
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-focused transformation environment.
