Shovel and Excavator Heavy Plant Operator
Location: Dagenham, East London
Salary: Circa £37,000 - £38,000pa (£16.00p/h)
Working Hours: 7am - 5pm (Guarenteed 45 hours per week)
Are you a skilled Heavy Plant operator, with experience with Shovel and Excavator operations, seeking a stable role with a respected, expanding company that prioritises expertise, safety, and customer satisfaction?
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established waste management and aggregate recycling provider based in Dagenham, London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct pre-start checks, operate plant safely and efficiently, and carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections.
* Maintain high health and safety standards by reporting defects, incidents, and concerns, and role modelling safe working practices.
* Manage stockpiles and yard movements effectively to reduce contamination, minimise waste, and support production targets.
* Load and dispatch vehicles safely while ensuring plant and equipment are properly maintained.
* Work collaboratively to deliver quality products, uphold housekeeping standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
