Killin Primary are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support for Learning assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support children with a range of additional support needs, and may consist of working with individual pupils as well as small groups of pupils, helping them engage with the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning support to individuals and small groups
2. Support pupils with additional needs, including those with learning difficulties, disabilities, or social and emotional challenges
3. Provide classroom support, ensuring all pupils can access learning effectively
4. Support children to access learning and engagement in health and wellbeing activities.
5. Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning support to specific pupil and as required to other individuals and small groups
6. Work closely with teachers, families and other professionals to implement support strategies
7. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
8. Supervise and assist pupils, during break and lunch times
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am – 2pm
