Sales & Revenue Manager Hotel Location: Solihull, West Midlands Salary: £37,000 per annum Contract: Full-time, permanent Own room revenue, OTAs and conference & events (C&E) sales. Turn data into prices that sell and enquiries into confirmed bookings. What Youll Do Set pricing and yield; manage inventory to hit revenue targets
Own OTA performance (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda): content, rates, parity, promotions
Analyse demand and competitor set; recommend actions to grow ADR and RevPAR
Build relationships with OTA account managers to secure visibility and deals
Lead C&E sales: handle enquiries, write proposals, negotiate and convert; hand over cleanly to operations
Produce weekly/monthly revenue and events reports with clear insights and next steps
Align activity with marketing, reservations and F&B
Must-Have Skills OTA management: parity control, visibility levers, mobile/member promos, content quality
Pricing & yield: confident with pickup, pace, segmentation, MinLOS, CTA/CTD
Systems: working knowledge of RMS, PMS and channel manager tools (e.g. IDeaS/Duetto; OPERA/Mews/Guestline; SiteMinder/D-EDGE)
Data to action: strong Excel/Google Sheets; turn reports into decisions
C&E sales: enquiry handling through to conversion, pipeline tracking
Communication: clear written and verbal style; credible with stakeholders
Organisation: able to juggle pricing windows, promotions and event pipelines
Nice To Have Metasearch experience (Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, Tripadvisor)
Corporate/GDS exposure (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport)
Creative input on event packages and menus with F&B teams
