Financial Controller (Part-Time / Reduced Hours) Newry £60,000 £70,000 (Pro Rata) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a growing and ambitious business in a newly created role. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing commercial insight, strategic support, and strong financial control while helping to drive the business forward. This role offers flexibility with part-time or reduced hours, making it ideal for an experienced finance professional seeking balance while maintaining a high-impact position. Key Responsibilities Lead financial reporting and management accounts, delivering clear insights, KPIs, and variance analysis. Manage project-based financials, including cost allocation, P&Ls, and performance tracking. Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management to support business operations. Drive process improvements and ERP implementation, enhancing systems and efficiencies. Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring compliance, controls, and successful audit delivery. The Person Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience with strong technical knowledge. Commercially minded with the ability to influence decision-making and support strategy. Proven experience managing finance operations in a growing or fast-paced environment. Strong leadership capability with experience developing or overseeing finance teams.
