Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for experience working in a cyber security role within an enterprise environment. We require experience with incident response and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response processes. We would ideally like experience with the Microsoft Defender suite and Tanium. We value an understanding of security best practice frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001. We are looking for a strong understanding of threat assessment and a technical IT background. We welcome experience in red-teaming, though this is not essential. We need experience with use case development. We are looking for strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. We will expect the role to use knowledge of the contemporary threat environment to support vulnerability investigations and response. We will have the candidate lead remediation efforts for identified vulnerabilities in collaboration with technology teams. We will need the role to act as an escalation point for cyber security incidents and document processes. We will have the candidate respond to incidents alongside our Head of Cyber. We will expect the role to work with our existing MSSP across incident response and proactive monitoring and detection. We will have the candidate maintain and optimise Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, XDR/MDR/EDR solutions, and supporting tools. We will need the role to track deployment and health of security products across our business. We will expect the candidate to stay ahead of emerging threats and evolving technologies.
