Job Description
The Business Consultant plays a critical role in client transformation, delivering planned change and benefits across the full project lifecycle. The role requires understanding client strategy, people and processes, validating current state, and enabling improved future state.
Responsibilities
* Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability, exercising personal responsibility and autonomy on discrete work pieces.
* Plan, schedule and monitor work to meet objectives against time and quality targets.
* Influence customers, suppliers and partners at project level; make decisions that affect project elements and team objectives.
* Engage with cross‑functional teams and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders sharing common objectives.
* Investigate, define and resolve complex issues; apply and develop creative thinking concepts.
* Lead or support workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to capture information.
* Assist in creating change, training, and communication plans; coordinate multiple change activities and track progress.
* Produce core information to support deliverables and workstream activities.
* Aim to coach other staff in core techniques and communication.

* Explore problems or plan change areas with senior team members.
* Support client engagement on project or program elements.
* Contribute to workshops and stakeholder interviews.

* Understanding of tools, methods and approaches in consulting capability.
* Solid understanding of change management approaches and frameworks.
Skills
* Fluent communication, orally and in writing; able to present complex information to technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Assess impact of change on standards, methods, tools, applications and processes.
* Risk awareness and analytical approach to work.
* Maximise capabilities of applications and evaluate new technologies and digital tools.
* Contribute specialist expertise to requirements definition.
