Setting based in Hemel Hempstead is looking for you to join their team!
Opening hours are 7.30am-6.00pm. The working week is 40 hours with flexible shifts and start times if you cannot start at 7.30am.
Salary: £24,960 to £27,040
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Implement the EYFS by delivering activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children within key groups, collaborating with team members.
2. Keep records of children's development, carry out assessments, and update learning journeys, sharing them with parents, carers, and other key adults.
3. Follow nursery safeguarding procedures to ensure children's safety and well-being.
4. Support staff and engage in a positive team environment.
5. Liaise with and support parents and family members.
6. Participate in out-of-hours activities such as staff meetings, training, parent consultations, and special events.
7. Be flexible within nursery working practices, assisting with tasks like cleaning, toy washing, and preparing snacks/meals.
8. Collaborate with the manager and staff to uphold the nursery's philosophy.
9. Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
10. Record accidents and incidents accurately, ensuring proper documentation and communication with parents.
11. Focus on the overall well-being of all children and ensure proper collection procedures are followed.
12. Respect confidentiality of all received information.
