The Department of Chemistry is seeking a full-time Graduate Studies Officer to join our friendly and dynamic academic administration team to deliver a varied, complex and stimulating workstream
This is a responsible and demanding role which is critical to the successful delivery of our postgraduate research degree programmes. You will work closely with the Graduate Studies Administrator to ensure the smooth and effective running of the programmes with around 450 students on course. This will involve work across all aspects of the graduate admissions and on-course administration including milestone assessments, visa applications, and servicing committees.
You will have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, a high level of attention to detail, a helpful and welcoming attitude, and a desire to provide an outstanding service to students, visitors and members of staff. You will be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, taking a proactive approach to tasks and problem solving, as well as cooperatively within a team.
