We are looking for experienced Aircraft Fitters to join our team at the international centre specializing in composite wing structures. You will work on assembling and trimming components using conventional and advanced methods, reporting to the Team Leader, and contributing to a positive, continuous improvement culture.
Job Responsibilities
* Build-up of sub-assemblies and major assemblies involving metallic and composite materials, including drilling, reaming, countersinking, fastener installation, and component setting in calibrated jigs.
* Deburring, fettling, and localized treatment touch-ups on aluminium and carbon structures.
* Use of nut runners, wrenches, and torque guns for bolting tasks.
* Work with aircraft drawings, adhering to quality standards and limits.
* Support safety-first culture, team collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen.
What You'll Bring
* Extensive aerospace industry experience.
* Ability to follow standard procedures and work as part of a close team.
* Willingness to undertake a 12-week on-the-job training course.
* NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds in Fitting or equivalent apprenticeship.
* Understanding of export controls and lean manufacturing principles.

* Starting salary of £33,140.33 for the first 3 months, increasing to £34,625.74 upon certification, plus shift premiums.
