We are hiring a Senior Delivery Project & Programme Manager to establish and champion delivery discipline across our client’s AI Factory. This is a senior role for someone who brings structure, transparency and control to large transformation portfolios and knows how to keepplex organisations aligned and on track.This role works closely with the Multi-Tech Agents Engineering Manager, the Senior Product Manager for Enterprise Agents, Delivery Leads and the Group Head.
Contract duration – 6 months (possibly to extend further)
Location – Waterside (UB7 0GB)
Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite
Pay – Flexible daily rate (inside IR35)

Purpose of the RoleThe Senior Delivery Project & Programme Manager owns deliveryernance across the AI Agents portfolio. You will define and enforce standards, drive high-quality reporting, manage risk and non-conformities, and provide the single source of truth on progress and value delivery. Your work ensures consistency, predictability and accountability across engineering teams building mission-critical agentic AI products.
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Tracking & Portfolio Visibility
1. Maintain a clear portfolio-level view of progress across all squads, integrating delivery data into structured reporting and dashboards.
2. Track sprint performance,mitments, dependencies and milestones, ensuring teams operate with transparency and discipline.
3. Identify bottlenecks early and coordinate corrective action across engineering, product and partner teams.
Stakeholdermunication & Leadership Reporting
4. Produce concise, executive-ready reporting for senior leadership, including weekly progress packs, risk summaries and value-realisation updates.
5. Ensure delivery stories aremunicated consistently across OpCos, programme teams and central functions.
6. Build cross-functional trust through clear, structured and timelymunication.
Standards,ernance & Quality Control
7. Define, maintain and enforce delivery standards across documentation, Stage Gates, change control and production readiness.
8. Ensurepliance withernance frameworks, including risk management processes, quality gates and audit requirements.
9. Validate that each AI Agent product meets exit criteria before advancing to the next phase.
Risk, Issue & Audit Management
10. Own the consolidated risk and issue registers, ensuring all items have clear ownership, action plans and timelines.
11. Run structured risk review cycles and escalate critical items to leadership with clear rmendations.
12. Ensure audit findings, nopliance and remediation actions are tracked to closure with clear accountability.
Cross-Team Alignment
13. Drive alignment across engineering, product, cyber, cloud and OpCo teams, ensuring everyone is operating to the same plan and cadence.
14. Support delivery leads in applying best-practice methods consistently across squads.
15. Maintain harmonised processes and shared delivery standards across the entire AI Factory.
Continuous Improvement
16. Identify opportunities to improve delivery methods, tooling, reporting andernance.
17. Establish feedback loops with teams to refine playbooks, standards and operating rhythms.
18. Lead structured process improvements that enhance predictability, velocity and quality.
Training & Capability Building
19. Provide ongoing coaching and training to deliver leads on tooling, standards andernance.
20. Embed structured work methods, analytical decision-making and transparency into day-to-day operations.
21. Develop templates, frameworks and repeatable delivery patterns for the AI Factory.
Qualifications & Experience
22. Experience in PMO, programme management or delivery leadership roles within technology or transformation environments.
23. Demonstrated ability to run structuredernance, reporting and decision processes at scale.
24. Proven track record deliveringplex IT or transformation programmes with high stakeholderplexity.
25. Expertise in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe), sprint management and tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
26. Experience coordinating multi-team or global organisations, managing dependencies and driving alignment.
27. Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to distilplex delivery data into clear insights.
28. Excellentmunication and influencing skills,fortable engaging senior stakeholders.
29. A proactive, structured and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on value, transparency and accountability.
