Warehouse Operative Knowsley | £13.42 per hour rising to £14.12 with shift rate | Monday - Friday, rotating shifts (7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm) | Temporary to Permanent Introduction Acorn by Synergie is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our client, a food manufacturing company based in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, with a genuine chance of a permanent contract and career progression. Key Duties Load and unload deliveries onsite. Move stock to the correct locations in the warehouse. Break down packaging for recycling. Keep the work area and equipment clean and well-maintained. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including handling hazardous materials. Maintain hygiene standards and follow all PPE, personal hygiene, and health and safety rules. Carefully weigh ingredients used in production. Handle and store raw materials and finished products correctly. Follow quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality. Escalate any quality or health and safety issues to the supervisor. Track inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies. Assist with stock takes of raw materials. Accurately complete required documentation and update computer systems. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements RTITB or ITSSAR accredited FLT counterbalance licence, refreshed within the last 3 years. Keen to learn with a positive, can-do attitude. Excellent communication skills. Health and safety aware with good manual handling skills. Flexible with working hours. Experience working on a BRC-accredited site and knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP regulations is advantageous but not essential. Willing to attend a paid trial shift before starting.
