Job Description
3. Provide tailored tax advice to owner-managed businesses in the agriculture sector.
4. Prepare and review tax returns and computations for clients.
5. Support clients with tax planning and compliance requirements.
6. Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve tax-related queries.
7. Assist with identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client service delivery.
9. Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations.
10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
The Successful Applicant
A successful OMB Tax Senior Associate should have:
11. A partial or completed professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ATT and CTA, or ACA).
12. Experience working in a UK-based accountancy/tax practice.
13. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, particularly in the agriculture sector.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
16. A proactive and organised approach to managing workloads.
