Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a highly success global engineering business based in Southport who are looking to recruit an experienced Category Manager to join their procurement team.
As Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering procurement strategies across a defined portfolio of suppliers. You will play a vital role in securing best value, strengthening supplier relationships and driving operational improvements.

The Role
* Lead strategic sourcing and implementing category strategies
* Negotiate and manage long term contracts and framework agreements
* Drive supplier performance and development initiatives
* Analyse data to inform strategy, decision making and stakeholder engagement
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver commercial goals
* Support continuous improvement across the supply chain
The Person
* Previous experience within a technical industrial industry (Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering, Marine, Rail, Aerospace)
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing ability
* High resilience and the ability to work to demanding deadlines
