Position: Hair, Barber and Beauty Instructor – Up to £29,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, starting November 2025!
Location: Avonside School, Bristol BS4 5PS
Our new Acorn Education School - Avonside School in Bristol, will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open August 2025. It will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.

Key Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain individual relationships with pupils that are consistent, caring, and understanding.
* Assist pupils within the classroom with their learning, both academic and behavioural/social.
* Liaise with education and pastoral colleagues regarding issues, concerns, and achievements of pupils.
* Contribute to weekly meetings and pupil planning and reviews, including Progress Reports.
* Work one-to-one or with small groups on programs linked to Hair and Beauty curriculum.
* Prepare all necessary materials and resources in advance to support engaging learning sessions.
* Supervise pupils during transitions and when they need time out.
* Support and supervise pupils during break and lunch times with recreational activities.
